As technology and coating techniques have continued to progress, we have taken the opportunity to enhance our mature product to ensure that it remains at the forefront of professional proofing media solutions.
The enhanced PearlPROOF Select preserves all the top-class benefits you have come to know CGS ORIS Media for, while introducing key improvements that reflect cutting-edge advancements in coating chemistry and technology. We are pleased to share with you that this upgraded version of the product you’ve known for years provides an even more stable white point — a requirement for accurate and consistent color reproduction in proofing.
We understand the importance of a seamless transition to the new version of PearlPROOF Select. Rest assured, there is no need to create a new RFP/queue within COLOR TUNER for the new media. Simply drop in the new PearlPROOF Select, recalibrate, and you’ll be ready to produce proofs in the same process you are accustomed to today. The enhanced PearlPROOF Select is manufactured to adhere to the same LAB specifications as the current version. The new product box will be slightly different, opening on the end of the roll rather than along the width, so you will know for certainty when you receive your first shipment of the improved product. The part number that you order with today, will not change — nor will the width options, or roll length.
