For years we have noticed a growing demand for proofing on production shrink film, uncoated substrate, corrugated board, and other specialty substrates. Current proofing and prototyping solutions are limited to the types of substrate the ink will adhere to, or like in the case of UV ink, the ink on substrate feels unnatural to the touch.

 

Our solution

Our software system FLEX PACK now supports the Mutoh ValueJet 628 MP and its multi-purpose ink. This solution is a breakthrough for the industry as it allows for true Direct-To-Substrate (DTS) proofing. This all new multi-purpose ink adheres to, and maintains the true look and feel of whatever substrate you’re printing on. It is now possible to proof directly to your original press material such as thin films and other specialty packaging substrates.
